Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She then worked as an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year award for all media in South Carolina. O'Dell's work in Charleston was the reason she joined as a co-anchor, reporter and anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Before becoming a part of Access Hollywood she was a co-anchor on weekdays as well as NBC's weekend co-anchor. Her current position as host of Access Hollywood is complemented by her work on NBC News Today, Dateline NBC and NBC News. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
